This hide camp will be a safe space and allow Indigenous folks who do not have access to Land-Based Learning or transportation to attend ceremony or hide camps outside of Edmonton area, and will have the opportunity to learn with hands on experience igniting their own blood memory working with moose hides in all the stages from fleshing, scraping and softening a moose hide, learn the different methodology of how to soften a moose hide.

To further healing and reciprocity we will have a trade exchange on Day 4 where each individual brings something that represents their homelands or their Indigenous culture. Trade exchanges are rooted in our Indigenous communities and play an important role in our natural laws showing reciprocity.
